Bring family, friends and colleagues closer with videophone calls. Both D-Link i2eye models (DVC-1000 and DVC-1100) are stand-alone devices - no computer required! This is an ideal solution for homes or small businesses for keeping in touch, conducting meetings and more.

Consumers who are Deaf can make videophone calls by calling the Video Relay Service to use a VRS interpreter, or by calling another user directly. Any phone signaler may be used with a videophone to flash a lamp for visual notification of incoming videophone calls. With a phone signaler that transmits to remote receivers, you can be notified not just in one room, but in other rooms where the receiver is connected to a lamp or strobe light.

Requirements: TV; Ethernet network cable; broadband cable, DSL or Ethernet Internet connection.

Connecting the DVC-1000 Videophone:
  • Place the D-Link DVC-1000 videophone directly on top of a television. To obtain the best viewing experience, the videophone should be 5-10 feet away from the intended subject.
  • Attached the supplied white and yellow audio/video cable to the DVC-1000 and to the matching audio/video jacks on the television or VCR.
  • Attach the supplied Ethernet cable to the Ethernet port on the videophone and to the cable or DSL modem or ethernet network device (hub, switch or router).
  • Attaching a telephone is optional, but recommended for optimal sound quality when videoconferencing. Attach a standard telephone cable to the telephone and directly to the DVC-1000. Do NOT attach the telephone to a wall telephone outlet.
  • Plug the supplied AC power cable into an AC outlet and then connect the other end to the videophone.
  • Attaching an external microphone is optional, but recommended for optimal sound for a group videoconference.
