Ready! Set! Sign! is a comprehensive, 24-lesson, 5 CD-ROM program that teaches American Sign Language. It provides approximately 13 hours of video instruction and teaches over 1,200 signs equating to more than 3,000 English words. You can view any sign, at any time, from any place in the instructional sequence using a Sign Search component. It also teaches fingerspelling, numbers, and major grammar concepts. Every instructional segment provides practice opportunities with immediate feedback. A "Cultural Moment" video ends each lesson and gives valuable information about deafness, deaf people, and Deaf Culture. All instruction is also completely accessible through closed captions.
