SounDirector Personal Amplifier
The SounDirector helps overcome background noise making conversations easier to understand. The unit is lightweight and portable and easy to use on trips or when talking to family or friends. In conversations, place the remote microphone near the speaker's mouth to reduce background noise. In small groups, use the built-in microphone and point the unit near the speaker. A top mounted switch allows you to turn off the internal microphone to reduce feedback when high volumes are needed. Enjoy TV without disturbing others by using the remote microphone extension cable. The SounDirector provides 40dB test gain through the headphones provided. Suitable for hearing losses up to severe/profound. Battery life is 150 hours on two AA alkaline batteries or up to 40 hours on two NiCad AA cells (not included). Top mounted controls include an on/off switch, industry standard 3.5 mm stereo headphone jack and a red "on" light to monitor the condition of the batteries. One year warranty.
